I will no longer be teaching TG-3 classes that meet the requirements for certification or re-certification of TG-3 reviewers for the following reasons:

In March of this year, NYCE, STAR and PULSE networks announced some totally unreasonable testing requirements on instructors that have been in the industry for over twenty years passing on their knowledge to the next generation, while exempting one TG-3 reviewer from such testing requirements. This announcement was made retroactive to January 1. This exempted individual was charged with developing a testing instrument, including the grading of same, which those who are recognized industry experts would be required to submit. It is believed that this is a no win situation and in fact borders on interference of business. For this reason, after developing the TG-3 training market and almost ten years of passing on key management knowledge, 18 years as the US ISO expert representative and 20+ years of involvement in the ANSI working groups, and development of the A98 the industry standard for ATM key management, I will no longer be teaching a class that will meet the requirements for TG-3 reviewer certification or re-certification for same. However, I am available to those individuals that actually want to learn how key management really works and receive correct information on same. Personalized training including on site classes for ten or more can be arranged. To those individuals that have registered or others that were planning on registering, I offer my apologies that I must take this action at this late date.
